Community consultant, keynote speaker, workshop facilitator and event host helping organisations create work people can genuinely see themselves in.
About Daniel
Daniel Olasoji is a Nigerian-born Australian community leader and communicator working across community development, health research, education, government, events and media. His work centres the people most affected by decisions—and turns their insight into practical programs, stronger partnerships and better conversations.
As a co-founder of African Youth Alliance, Daniel has helped build culturally responsive programs that strengthen identity, wellbeing, educational engagement, leadership and aspiration. At Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, he connected researchers with lived-experience contributors and helped teams embed meaningful community engagement into health research.
Daniel brings the same foundation to every room: listen closely, communicate clearly and create space for people to contribute with confidence.
“I know how to speak institution—and how to make sure community is not lost in translation.”
Ways to work together
Daniel works with government, education, health, community and purpose-led organisations that want to engage people well, deliver useful experiences and communicate with credibility.

Co-founded in 2016 and developed into a community-led organisation delivering mentoring, workshops, conferences, camps, wellbeing initiatives and practical pathways for African Australian young people.
Led community and content engagement, supporting researchers to recruit, listen to and work alongside lived-experience contributors across advisory groups, interviews, surveys and co-design.
Designed and delivered culturally responsive youth initiatives with schools, councils and government—connecting identity, belonging, careers, leadership and future pathways.
Experience across conferences, community events, cultural celebrations, panels, podcasts, church events and entertainment—balancing preparation, warmth and spontaneity.
